What a day in Mavsland. This courtesy of ESPN’s Marc Stein:

Harris was the one real value signing thus far for the Maverick off season; his described contract was inexpensive and he would’ve brought his experience playing with Dirk Nowitzki to a team filled with many new faces. Stein mentions there’s still hope down the road, but the crowded back court means Harris might have less interest. The non-arrival of Harris does mean there are still minutes to grab in the guard rotation, with Vince Carter and rookie Ricky Ledo perhaps grabbing back up minutes for presumed starter Monta Ellis. Stein also points out the cascade effect to other Dallas contracts

Stein points out that there is no longer a need for a sign and trade with the available room. Dalembert would immediately become the starting Dallas center if signed, with Bernard James the only traditional big man on the roster.
