It’s Business Time

Dirk Nowitzki had a pretty incredible week, averaging 33.7 points on 55.2% shooting from the field (32/58 FG), 80% from three (4/5 3FG), and 100% FT (33/33) from the line over three games. He also chipped in 8.7 rebounds, just for good measure. It was good enough for him to be named the Western Conference Player of the week, per a release from the team. It’s the fourth time he’s been so honored this season.
Even more important: Dirk led the Mavs to three decisive wins, and averaged 21.0 points in the second half over that three-game span. I think he might be ready to get this post-season thing started.
