Ask and Ye Shall Receive

What’s that Mavs fans? You want some production out of the 2-guard position? You want a starter that allows Terry, Barea, and Beaubois to assume their usual rotation roles without compromising the offense or defense? Well Rick Carlisle may have just the answer for you. Carlisle announced that Josh Howard will make his return to the lineup tonight, and although it’s unknown whether he’ll jump headfirst into a starting role, this is a new beginning for the Mavs. Howard is a more crucial piece than most are willing to admit, and the versatility he affords the Mavs should make them a much more effective two-way team going forward. Hoping for good things tonight.
