Is Jason Kidd attending your wedding?

“I do not know if Jason Kidd is attending, right now he’s dealing with free agency, and he’s gonna be a Knick.  (Host: Ya think so?)  Yes, well, yeah, I hope for him – he loves New York, we both really love New York.  (Host: Wait, did he tell you he’s gonna play for the Knicks?)  No, no, no, no, no, he never said those words, but I… (Host: Are you sweating right now)  No, I’m not sweating right now!”

    It would be awful if Kidd signs with the Knicks. But if he truly wants to win a championship and wants to make the bucks, he’ll stay in Dallas. Personally, I think Kidd is still an awesome point guard, but that doesn’t change the fact that he SUCKED in the playoffs. And that fact REALLY bothers me. But, at the same time…who else are you gonna get? So, here’s hoping he stays and hopefully PICKS UP his play in the post season. If not, don’t let the door hit him in the ass on his way out.

    Can’t say I would have been surprised if you had told me 2 months ago that Kidd might bolt. But I never would have guessed it might be to the Knicks…

    I was under the impression the Knicks were after Nash anyway. Seems like a better fit to me.

    Wait…a premonition. I understand it now. Walsh knows the Knicks aren’t going anywhere. He thought that “big-spending” Mark Cuban would love to give him real talent in exchange for Eddy Curry (also known as Damp -2.0). We didn’t bite and now he just wants to bring us down with him into the doldrums of insignificance.
